Jazz Leeft! Photobook The Hague Jazz being printed
My friend and fellow photographer Eric van Nieuwland and I just finished our photobook Jazz Leeft! (jazz lives) that we are producing in cooperation with The Hague Jazz Festival / Clockround Productions. The launch of the book is planned close to the end of this year. The 112-pages book has front- and backstage photos covering the 5 years that the festival is held in The Hague. Besides live pictures we are very proud to have interviews and portraits of several dutch and international artists and musicians. Among them are living legend Wayne Shorter, Candy Dulfer, Jesse van Ruller, Wouter Hamel, Sensual and more.
Pat Metheny in EMusician
America's largest electronic music magazine Electronic Musician did a coverstory on Pat Metheny in their April edition. I supplied some of Pat's pictures. They were shot at gig in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
North Sea Jazz Festival 2010
The largest indoor jazz festival of the world just finished. 3 inspiring days full of great music came to an end. You can find an overview of the material on a special Flickr North Sea Jazz slideshow
Gwilym Simcock
British pianotalent Gwilym Simcock launched a new album last November : Blues Vignette. Most of the material of the booklet are photos I took at his Bimbuis concert last year. Some photoalbums from last year are the one from the North Sea Jazz festival. And the The Hague jazz 2009.
